Finance Analyst role supporting finance operations across multiple markets, focusing on standardization, digitalization, and process maturity in reporting, planning, closing, and master data management. Requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and driving ad-hoc projects.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive standardization and achieve digital maturity across financial processes in Reporting (sales, Opex, cash flow, headcount, resource allocation), Planning (Anaplan inputs), Closing (including intercompany), Master Data Management, and Compliance.
  2. Input planning data into company’s forecasting tools to ensure accurate data in the financial systems data to allow for automated reporting and ease of analysis
  3. Support the finance team in the periodic financial performance reviews & budget variance analysis by providing an overview of performance to the Management team and regional leadership teams
  4. Support the BUF owned controls on BVA and revenue contract assessments, conducting variance analysis to compare actual results with budgeted figures, identifying drivers behind variances
  5. Facilitate best practice sharing and foster a culture of collaboration across virtual teams.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in finance
  • Experience of working in a regional/ global organisation with matrix business relationships
  • Advanced Excel
  • Power BI
  • ERP systems
  • understanding of master data and system-based processes
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

  • FP&A and business partnering
  • Automation experience desired (e.g Power Automate or UiPath)
  • familiar with pharma worldwide procedures, practices and systems
