This role supports the Risk Management and Compliance team within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, focusing on operational excellence, governance, and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include managing team operations, supporting risk committees, maintaining governance artifacts, facilitating onboarding, managing records, and supporting administrative tasks. The role also involves identifying opportunities to leverage technology, including AI tools, to improve processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Run the day-to-day operating cadence for the Risk team (meetings, priorities, communications, and follow-ups), including coordination of off-sites, town halls, and all-hands and preparation of supporting materials
  2. Provide risk committee secretariat support, including agenda/materials coordination, minutes and action tracking, and timely close-out of follow-ups
  3. Maintain effective governance routines and artifacts, including calendars, documentation, and inventories; coordinate outsourcing / IAS activities and maintain inventory of charters and required governance artifacts
  4. Facilitate onboarding and role-based access management for new team members
  5. Maintain records management and data storage ownership practices; coordinate report inventory recertifications and required updates/attestations

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization across competing deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and commitment to strong compliance and governance standards
  • Experience supporting governance routines, committee processes, or operational programs in Risk, Controls, or a similar environment

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with process improvement and automation; experience with approved AI-enabled tools is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SharePoint and data management tools a plus
