This role is a Finance & Business Management Senior Associate within Corporate Technology at JPMorgan Chase. The primary responsibilities include end-to-end financial and business management, such as budget planning, forecasting, reporting, investment governance, and cost management. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on partnering with senior technology leaders to drive financial discipline and operational efficiency. While a foundational understanding of AI capabilities and experience with Databricks for automation is preferred, the core function of the role is financial and business management, not direct AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own end-to-end business management across budget planning, monthly forecasting and reporting, investment lifecycle governance, headcount planning and tracking, location strategy, vendor productivity tracking, run-rate analysis, expense monitoring, and cost recovery.
  2. Execute day-to-day Business Management deliverables for Corporate Technology aligned to leadership priorities; make business-as-usual decisions, influence stakeholders, determine the appropriate course of action, and escalate when necessary.
  3. Build trusted relationships with supported functions and clients; lead ad-hoc requests, prepare meeting materials, manage delivery requirements, and orchestrate monthly financial activities.
  4. Manage P&L expense oversight; perform variance analysis, drive follow-ups, and synthesize insights for effective communication and presentation to management.
  5. Oversee and manage data inputs for investment governance across the product domain, including mapping and maintaining the end-to-end system dependencies of the data model.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 3 plus years of experience in Financial Management, Business Management, or Program Management

  • Experience in Technology Finance & Business Management
  • Advanced knowledge of Essbase
  • Experience with business applications such as Tableau and Ariba
  • Foundational understanding of AI capabilities and hands-on experience using Databricks to automate reporting, streamline analytics, and enhance forecasting and variance analysis
