Finance Manager

This is a Finance Manager role at AMD, focusing on accounting activities, compliance with US GAAP, and supporting business programs. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and oversee accounting activities to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, with strong emphasis on US GAAP.
  2. Review and interpret complex contracts and business arrangements, translating them into appropriate accounting treatments.
  3. Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, operations, commercial) to operationalize accounting requirements for new and existing programs.
  4. Provide technical accounting guidance and support for non-routine, complex transactions.
  5. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, including month-end and quarter-end close processes.

Skills

Required

  • 8–12+ years of relevant experience
  • Big 4 audit or advisory experience
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with accounting standard
  • Proven experience in analyzing and accounting for complex contracts
  • Demonstrated ability to apply accounting knowledge to real business operations and programs
  • Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • CPA or equivalent professional qualification

Nice to have
