Finance Manager responsible for leading key line forecasting, program budgeting, earned value reporting, and financial reporting activities within a defense contractor. This role involves managing program earned value in compliance with reporting requirements, leading baseline efforts, and supporting proposal activities and contract negotiations. Requires a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of finance/accounting experience or equivalent. Experience with Earned Value, US Government procurement, and financial systems like SPFP and COBRA is preferred. A Secret security clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the EAC process to include earned value analysis, hands-on EAC update revisions
  2. Manage the monthly financial forecasting process to include analysis and recommendations on awards, sales, operating margin and cash
  3. Prepare and present financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts
  4. Support internal and external compliance audits
  5. Support pricing, proposal activities and contract negotiations

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience in finance, accounting or program control OR Master's degree with 6 years of professional experience in finance, accounting or program control
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Experience presenting financial data to leadership
  • Secret security clearance

Nice to have

  • Prior leadership experience
  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with Earned Value and financial reports on various contract types
  • Experience with U.S. Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards and FAR
  • Experience with SPFP financial forecasting system and COBRA earned value management system
  • Earned Value proficiency including Earned Value Guidelines and ONE NG System Description
  • Experience with the development of the Annual Operation Plan and Long-Range Strategic Plan
  • Aerospace & Defense industry experience
  • Active current U.S. Government Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
