This role is a Finance Manager position at Microsoft, focusing on financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for the commercial business within Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS). The responsibilities include driving revenue analysis, gathering deal insights and market share trends, collaborating across teams on commercial performance, supporting quarter-end deal execution, and contributing to ARR analytics. The role requires a Master's or Bachelor's degree in a related field with experience in financial analysis or accounting.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive revenue analysis across all MCAPS regions and extract actionable business insights that enable timely, data-driven leadership decisions.
  2. Gather and synthesize deal insights and global market share trends to contextualize Microsoft's performance across segments and versus peers.
  3. Collaborate across teams to strengthen understanding of regional commercial performance, track quarter-end landing estimates and consolidate risks and opportunities analysis.
  4. Support quarter-end deal execution by working with regional leads to prioritize and track top deals, ensuring visibility into key revenue-driving opportunities.
  5. Contribute to MCAPS ARR analytics, analyzing and distilling insights.

Skills

Required

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.

  • Experience developing complex financial models and translating analytical insights into actionable strategies
  • Demonstrating executive presence and the ability to effectively communicate complex data and insights
  • Proven track record of continuous process improvement and driving operational excellence
