Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting processes for a division. This role involves supervising a team of financial analysts, coordinating with various stakeholders, and supporting process improvement initiatives. Requires a strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP, and SOX requirements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Financial Planning (Annual Operating Plan/Long Range Strategic Plan and monthly forecasting), Analysis, and Reporting in accordance with company policy, GAAP and SOX requirements
  2. Financial reporting & financial statement analysis (Income Statement/Balance Sheet/Cash Flow Statement)
  3. Provide financial variance analysis, business analysis, and reporting with the ability to clearly communicate with senior management as it relates to financial program status and analyses
  4. Support Treasury / Cash forecasting
  5. Coordinate responses to ad hoc requests from Sector or Corporate

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience in business management, finance, and/or accounting - OR - a Master's degree with 6 years of related experience
  • Prior management experience and demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop talent
  • Familiarity with business strategy and forecasting, through internal or external deliverables such a Long Range Strategic Plan or Annual Operating Plan
  • Working knowledge of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work across cross functional teams to complete deliverables
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
