Expedia is seeking a Finance Manager to lead strategic financial projects, investment governance, and long-range financial modeling for their B2B division. This role involves managing cross-functional initiatives, establishing investment frameworks, and supporting financial planning and analysis to enable data-driven decision-making.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage and drive strategic finance projects across B2B, from framing the problem and defining scope through analysis, recommendations, and implementation tracking.
  2. Lead the OPEX finance workstreams for M&A integration, partnering with M&A Integration team, B2B Finance LT, and Corporate Finance to translate deal theses into concrete integration plans, financial targets, and performance tracking.
  3. Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (Finance, Product, Tech, Commercial, HR, Legal) to ensure investment decisions and integration activities are aligned to the agreed financial and strategic objectives.
  4. Own long-range strategic financial modeling on investments & cost efficiency initiatives and partner with B2B finance teams to drive decisions and operationalize in financial planning
  5. Design and maintain investment frameworks, criteria, and guardrails that are consistent with EG and P&T standards but tailored to B2B’s needs.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or similar analytical roles.
  • Demonstrated experience building robust financial models (including multi‑year and scenario models) to support strategic or investment decisions.
  • Strong command of financial statements, unit economics, and key B2B / platform metrics (e.g., volume, contribution margin, EBITDA).
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large, complex data sets
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex topics into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating independently in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments, with strong ownership and follow‑through.
  • Experience in B2B, platform, or marketplace businesses, ideally within technology or travel.
  • Prior exposure to M&A (deal support or post‑merger integration) from a finance, strategy, or consulting role.
