Finance Manager, A2r Strategy

Finance Manager role focused on the strategy and deployment of new S4 Finance transaction and close processes within Johnson & Johnson's SigniFi Finance Transformation program. The role involves coordinating and orchestrating process documentation, training, and testing in partnership with deployment teams, and ensuring integrated end-to-end approaches across various finance functions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Deploying processes within the scope of TransAct; identifying and creating documentation necessary to train and deploy to the teams that will execute those processes in S4 finance.
  2. Partnering to help define and design new processes with the GPOs and finance systems solutions team and test them in coordination with the finance systems deployment teams.
  3. Partner across other SigniFi workstreams, including working with Tax, Global Services, Reporting & Analytics, Statutory, Compliance and Finance GPOs to ensure execution of deployments are well understood, and where necessary integrated.
  4. End to end thinking, planning, orchestrating, understanding of our Close processes and effectively deploying simplified and standardized processes to ensure continued advancement of our end state solution.
  5. Act as a change leader, helping our Finance organization to reach aligned outcomes.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 5 years of relevant finance or accounting processes or related business experience
  • Strong independent, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to influence and effectively communicate with senior management
  • Ability to anticipate and proactively address challenges and recommend alternate options
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office

Nice to have

  • CPA, CMA or other financial certifications
  • Planning, Prioritization and Project Management skills
  • Prior people management experience and strong track record of people development
  • Knowledge of foundational SAP S4 Hana, Common Information Model / Master Data concept and emerging technologies
  • Collaborative style and able to work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Experience with financial reporting/account to report experience
