This role is for a Finance Manager who will lead the AI transformation within the FP&A function. The candidate will own core FP&A responsibilities while championing an AI-first approach, defining an AI vision, building and deploying AI solutions, and automating processes. The role requires partnering with data engineering and analytics teams, and collaborating with engineering, data science, and product teams to tailor AI solutions for finance needs. The candidate will also serve as an AI subject matter expert and contribute to AI governance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own end-to-end financial planning processes including annual operating plans, long-range forecasts, and monthly/quarterly business reviews
  2. Define the AI Vision for FP&A: Develop and execute a roadmap to embed AI/ML capabilities across the FP&A function — from forecasting and anomaly detection to automated reporting and natural language insights
  3. Build & Deploy AI Solutions: Identify, pilot, and scale AI-powered tools (e.g., predictive forecasting models, intelligent automation, generative AI for narrative generation) that reduce manual effort and improve decision quality
  4. Partner with business leaders to provide actionable financial insights, variance analysis, and recommendations that influence strategic decisions
  5. Serve as the AI subject matter expert within the finance organization — staying current on emerging AI/ML technologies and their applicability to finance use cases

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience

Nice to have

  • 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
  • 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
  • MBA, or CPA
  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
