Finance Operations Manager

Meta is seeking an experienced Finance Operations Manager for the APAC Revenue Operations team. This role will focus on Order-to-Cash (OTC), revenue risk and controls, and financial governance. The manager will partner with cross-functional teams, drive high-impact initiatives, and influence global process design and tooling, including the implementation of AI/ML technologies for operational efficiencies and risk mitigation. Experience with SOX compliance, AI skill development, and responsible AI practices is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and strengthen internal controls frameworks across revenue operations, supporting SOX compliance, audit readiness, and risk mitigation as the team expands into governance and strategy
  2. Identify, assess, and mitigate revenue-related risks across APAC markets; provide strategic recommendations on credit and collections policies and operational controls
  3. Own and manage a defined portfolio of APAC markets and/or business lines end-to-end — including revenue operations performance, credit exposure, collections health, and client risk profiles.
  4. Foster cross-functional partnerships with sales, legal, policy, tax, and controllership teams to drive solutions on revenue, billing, credit, collections, and emerging compliance challenges
  5. Champion Meta's broader strategy to drive operational efficiencies and support business growth through technological advancements, and to encourage the implementation of new systems and tools, such as predictive dashboards and digital finance technologies like analytics, machine learning, and robotic process automation

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of significant and relevant experience in two or more of the following: Order-to-Cash operations, revenue accounting, financial controls, risk management, or controllership
  • Expert-level understanding of OTC processes (credit, collections, billing, cash application) with demonstrated breadth in at least one adjacent area: revenue risk and controls, governance, internal audit, or revenue accounting
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken)
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of partnering effectively with sales, marketing, and cross-functional leadership to drive commercial outcomes
  • Experience working with systems and tools, and demonstrated deployment of digital finance technologies (analytics, AI, RPA, etc.)
  • Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones
  • Strong data storytelling and executive communication skills
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Prior experience with SOX compliance, internal audit, or building/strengthening controls frameworks in a high-growth environment
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Demonstrated track record of leading end-to-end transformation or automation programs (e.g., RPA deployment, AI-driven credit decisioning, predictive analytics dashboards)
  • Experience influencing global process design or tooling strategy as a regional stakeholder
  • Experience managing revenue risk portfolios across multiple APAC jurisdictions with varying regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Experience operating within a large-scale technology company or global organization with complex, multi-entity finance operations structure
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • CPA / CA / ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification is strongly preferred
