Finance & Strategy, Deal Operations - Americas

Anthropic Anthropic · AI Frontier · San Francisco, CA · Finance

This role is in Finance & Strategy, Deal Operations at Anthropic. The primary focus is on managing complex deals, developing standardized processes, and building AI-native tooling to scale commercial operations. The role involves working at the intersection of finance, sales, legal, and compliance to ensure products reach customers and to optimize sales cycles. While the role mentions building AI-native tooling, the core craft is not AI/ML model development but rather the operational and financial aspects of deal execution and scaling business processes within an AI company.

What you'd actually do

  1. Quarterback deals through internal processes — CPQ quote-building, approval routing, contract execution — ensuring accurate, timely completion
  2. Own Anthropic’s deal-making execution processes, ensuring that all commercial workflows can seamlessly navigate internal processes
  3. Build AI-native tooling with internal teams to meaningfully scale our commercial processes
  4. Optimize operational workflows that reduce friction in the sales cycle and accelerate time-to-close
  5. Act as the bridge between Sales and supporting teams, maintaining contract and compliance management systems and ensuring agreement terms align with company standards
