Finance & Strategy - Financial Analyst

Salesforce is seeking a Finance & Strategy Analyst to support financial modeling, reporting, and process improvement. This role involves expense and headcount management, partnering with various finance teams, and leveraging software tools to automate tasks. Experience with financial software and data analysis is required, with SQL and data visualization being a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build, maintain and update financial models to support key business decisions
  2. Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting
  3. Conduct variance analysis for month-end and quarter-end financial close.
  4. Analyse historical and current financial data for trends, run-rates, opportunities and risks
  5. Collaborate with other stakeholders to gather data for insights and accuracy

Skills

Required

  • University Degree in Finance, or relevant disciplines.
  • At least 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in an FP&A, Finance & Strategy, Accounting function of a multinational entity.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, Hyperion, Smartview and Google Suite.
  • Data extraction, analysis and presentation
  • Thrives in an environment of collaboration/teamwork but is also a self-starter, requiring limited guidance
