What you'd actually do

  1. Build strong cross-functional partnerships within Accounting, Business Unit, and Engineering
  2. Develop financial models for critical automotive and embedded deals and influence senior business development partners to maximize return on investment
  3. Track, account and forecast revenue and related costs for a high volume of license and development arrangements
  4. Execute “percentage of completion” revenue recognition models based on forecasted and actual costs incurred and book related journal entries
  5. Collaborate with Engineering to understand total costs involved for each arrangement

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree from a leading university in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience collaborating across a large organization to influence and inspire change
  • 5+ years of FP&A experience or combination of FP&A and public accounting
  • Experience in SAP, BPC, and Tableau
  • Advanced MS skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
  • Expertise with SQL and data visualization tools
  • Communicate insights through slides and narratives to a wide range of partners including financial leadership
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work collaboratively and independently

Nice to have

  • CPA is preferred
  • Financial analysis including NPV and return on investment modeling
  • Strong financial and revenue accounting knowledge, attention to detail and a sense of accountability
  • Experience with “percentage of completion” revenue recognition modeling
  • Drive for excellence and ability to handle a high-paced environment
