What you'd actually do

  1. Support Production Finance operations across multiple show productions in various phases (development, pre-production, production, and post-production).
  2. Collect, review, and validate monthly financial reporting (cost reports, General Ledger, Trial Balance, etc.) for multiple productions on a timely basis.
  3. Track and quantify financial performance of shows against budget and projected cash flow needs, identifying data inaccuracies to maintain data integrity.
  4. Manage weekly cash flow and funding schedules for assigned projects in multiple currencies, ensuring cash flow tracks reasonably with projected spend and adjusting funding schedules to adequately support production activities while avoiding excess funding.
  5. Comprehend and articulate details and root causes relating to production and funding variances.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 6+ years of progressive industry experience in production accounting or in a studio production finance role
