What you'd actually do

  1. Strategic planning, reporting, and analysis of key financial metrics (Sales, Margin, Cash, Awards) for the I&S BU. Includes quarterly Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) contract profitability assessment, cash flow/balance sheet management, risk and opportunity assessment
  2. Lead monthly and quarterly financial deliverables and analysis
  3. Communicate financial progress and provide insight to senior leadership on regular basis
  4. Support monthly BU Operations reviews through preparation of financial content, including Quarter and Full Year forecast variance narrative and upside/downside sensitivity assessment
  5. Lead development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) through collaboration with Business Development and Program Management

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics (or related field) – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics (or related field) – OR – PhD with 4 years of professional experience in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics (or related field)
  • active U.S. Government Top-Secret or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance
  • High proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel
  • Experience with financial reporting tools (SAP, Cobra, Cognos/NGFP)
  • Financial analysis and reporting including development of forecast and profitability
  • Detail and results oriented; ability to deliver timely and accurate analysis
