Financial Reporting Senior Analyst

Senior Analyst role focused on financial reporting, preparing audit-ready support packages, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of reporting and audit deliverables. This role involves assessing the impact of financial data, maintaining document repositories, and assisting with drafting financial disclosures and reports.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assess the impact of data calls, journal vouchers (JVs), prior period adjustments (PPAs), and compensation corrections on AFR content, balances, and disclosures, and help determine required updates to reporting support.
  2. Maintain document repositories, including SharePoint and related file structures, to support organized, audit-ready documentation and efficient retrieval of supporting materials.
  3. Prepare audit-ready support packages by organizing key supporting documentation (KSD), validating completeness, and confirming support aligns to reported balances and disclosure requirements.
  4. Support footnote and disclosure updates by performing tie-outs, tracing source data to supporting schedules, and helping maintain accurate references across current and prior period reporting.
  5. Compile AFR content from source files and stakeholder inputs, while maintaining version control, change tracking, and traceability of edits and supporting evidence.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • 2+ years experience in financial reporting, AFR preparation, audit readiness, or financial statement audit
  • Experience with data calls, JVs, PPAs, compensation corrections
  • Document repository management (e.g., SharePoint)
  • Preparation of audit support packages
  • Footnote and disclosure updates
  • Version control and change tracking
  • Drafting and editing MD&A and other required letters

Nice to have

  • Experience in Government & Public Services (GPS) practice
  • Familiarity with Controllership and Treasury Transformation offerings
