This role supports manufacturing processes by applying basic electro-polishing and metal finishing theories to diagnose and correct problems. It involves operating and maintaining facilities equipment, repairing the physical structure of the establishment, and managing facility-related projects including remodeling, equipment installation, and compliance. The role also includes performing mechanical and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical systems, coordinating inspections, and training lower-level technicians.

What you'd actually do

  1. Makes key day-to-day contributions as a support individual team member who analyzes and executes tasks that are typically routine.
  2. Provides inter-departmental support on an ad-hoc basis to support the Production Equipment Repair & Maintenance goals and objectives.
  3. Follows and applies routine administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
  4. Responsible for supporting manufacturing processes by using basic-electro polishing and metal finishing theories to properly diagnose problems and implement corrective actions.
  5. Operates and maintains facilities equipment including, but not limited to, building controls, fire protection systems and heating-ventilation-and air-conditioning (HVAC).
  6. Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
  7. Plans, coordinates, inspects, and performs maintenance and supports project management for facility related projects, including but not limited to, building remodeling and construction, equipment installation and/or placement, safety and environmental compliance, mechanical systems maintenance, and energy conservation.
