**THE ROLE: ** We are looking for a BIOS/BMC Technical Leader with a passion for firmware. As part of this role, you will work closely with other firmware engineers, developers, and architects from various function teams (e.g., AGESA/GPU/Core team/BMC, etc.) to coordinate with team members to design and implement platform firmware across all AMD rack levels, covering pre-chip and post-chip phases.
**THE PERSON: ** You are passionate about firmware development with creative and effective problem-solving skills, a motivated, self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively in fast paced environments. You have excellent technical communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: **
Offering an in-depth technical analysis and support.
Follow up with AGESA to push forward CPU insight patched validation on a compute tray.
Participate firmware dev and status to align with front end FW-TPM schedule
Provide consultation to internal and external clients regarding AMD feature and programming requirements.
**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: **
8+ years of BIOS experience.
Experience with BMC SoC and embedded Linux feature implement.
Familiarity with x86 architecture.
Strong experience with AMI or EDK2 Firmware architecture.
Strong experience with RAS.
**ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: ** Bachelors or Masters degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
