First-line Facilities Multi Services Manager

Manager for facilities multi-services including equipment, motive operations, crane operations, airplane assist, shim and router shops, tooling shops, production assist, and NW dispatch center. Focuses on developing and executing standard work, implementing policies, setting operational goals, acquiring resources, and managing teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develops and executes Standard Work and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  2. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management and leads process improvements
  3. Follows and implements the Boeing Production System
  4. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports
  5. Manages, develops and motivates employees utilizing the Boeing Production System

Skills

Required

  • 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Willing to work any shift (may be selected for 2nd or 3rd shift)
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”

Nice to have

  • 1+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)
  • 2+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams
