Fleet Introduction Team (fit) Training Lead & Ndi Platform Representative

This role is a Training Lead for the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Fleet Introduction Team (FIT), focusing on Link 16 and Tactical Targeting Network Technology (TTNT) training and coordination within DoD. It involves managing training events, courseware development, and maintaining information repositories in NIPR/SIPR environments. The role also serves as an interface with various DoD and international stakeholders to support training alignment and foreign release processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and manage the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Fleet Introduction Team (FIT) supporting Link 16 and Tactical Targeting Network Technology (TTNT) training, coordination, and knowledge transfer across DoD stakeholders.
  2. Plan, coordinate, and execute biannual in-person and monthly virtual training events; develop, brief, and maintain TTNT and JTRS courseware, including TTNT 101 and emerging training requirements.
  3. Manage and maintain NIPR and SIPR SharePoint repositories, Community of Interest (COI) contact lists, and access controls to ensure accurate, current, and properly authorized training and reference materials.
  4. Serve as the primary interface with JICO community, platform representatives, Fleet Sustainment Teams, FMS case managers, and Foreign Disclosure Offices (FDO) to support training alignment, foreign release, and avoidance of duplicated efforts.
  5. Collect, document, and brief lessons learned and best practices from platform integrations, test events, exercises, and demonstrations; identify training gaps and recommend new FIT roles or capabilities.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • 5+ years' experience with DoD training programs, Fleet Introduction Teams, or tactical C2/communications initiatives (Link 16, TTNT, or JTRS preferred)
  • 1+ years' experience with NIPR/SIPR environments, SharePoint administration, and controlled-access information management
  • 1+ years' experience coordinating across joint, service, coalition, and international stakeholders, including FMS and Foreign Disclosure processes
  • Ability to travel 20-40%
