Fleet Manager - Fixed Contract

This role acts as the primary Caterpillar customer-facing representative for assigned marine accounts in the eastern hemisphere, owning the operational relationship with key fleet customers. Responsibilities include coordinating with dealers and product groups to execute service agreements, drive maintenance planning, and resolve in-service issues. The role involves interpreting fleet health data, leading operational communications, and addressing customer complaints.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the maintenance and overhaul plan for assigned vessels in coordination with the customer and multiple CAT dealers across the region.
  2. Execute service contract commitments and assist in reporting performance against KPIs to the customer on the agreed cadence.
  3. Lead operational communications with the customer. (updates, fleet status reviews, and escalation routing)
  4. Interpret fleet health data (fluid sample results, telematics data, & diagnostic trouble codes, and drive root cause and corrective action with the dealer and CAT product group(s)
  5. Coordinate cross-functionally with product support engineering, application engineering, and technical communicators on field-failure investigations and product issues affecting the fleet.
