Manage a team responsible for ensuring products, services, and processes meet customer contract requirements, engineering standards, company procedures, and government regulations. This role involves making airworthiness determinations and driving continuous improvement within a quality management environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and manage a team of employees responsible for evaluating and ensuring that products, services, and processes meet customer contract requirements, engineering standards, company procedures, and government regulations
  2. Develop and implement effective business plans, policies, and procedures aimed at enhancing performance and quality outcomes
  3. Create and execute organizational and technical strategies that promote continuous improvement and operational excellence
  4. Provide education and coaching on the Quality System, empowering team members to understand and uphold quality standards
  5. Make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance and safety

Skills

Required

  • 1+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
  • Must be willing and able to work any shift
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”

Nice to have

  • A&P license
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing multi-functional teams within a Quality Management environment
  • 3+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • 3+ years of experience in a production/factory environment
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High energy and enthusiasm for driving cultural change and improvement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Solid business acumen with a proven ability to develop and execute successful strategies
