This role is for a Chassis Planning Analyst at Ford Racing Parts. The analyst will be responsible for product strategy, business planning, engineering feasibility, supplier engagement, and financial analysis to develop and launch new performance chassis, suspension, brake, and wheel products. The role involves analyzing revenue, profit, cost, volume, investment, and market opportunity, leading cross-functional evaluations, resolving program issues, and interfacing with leadership and suppliers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop business cases to support new Ford Racing Parts chassis, suspension, brake, and wheel programs.
  2. Analyze revenue, profit, cost, volume, investment, timing, and market opportunity to determine program viability.
  3. Evaluate supplier quotes, engineering assumptions, manufacturing costs, competitive benchmarks, and customer demand to support informed product decisions.
  4. Lead cross-functional Cost, Feasibility & Timing evaluations with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and other key partners.
  5. Identify and help resolve business case and program issues related to cost, weight, feasibility, timing, quality, capacity, and profitability.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience in product planning, business planning, program management, financial analysis
  • Strong business case development and financial analysis skills.
  • Ability to evaluate cost, volume, profit, timing, feasibility, and market opportunity.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
  • Comfort working with Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, and supplier partners.
  • Ability to turn complex inputs into clear recommendations for leadership.
  • A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and follow-through.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution.
