Fpga Engineer, Intelligence Systems

Anduril Anduril · Defense · Reston, VA · AFS : Intelligence Systems Engineering

This role is for an FPGA Engineer focused on hardware design for defense systems, specifically involving Xilinx SoCs, VHDL/Verilog coding, and signal processing. While the company uses AI, this role is core hardware engineering, not AI/ML model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Integrate third-party vendors IP, as necessary.
  2. Participate in entire design life cycle: from requirements and concept, through design and hand on testing/board bring up.
  3. Implement a variety of signal types such as high speed comms (ethernet, serial), signal processing (analog, digital).
  4. Ensure designs meet all relevant safety and performance standards, with traceability back to top-level system requirements, as necessary.
  5. Investigate and resolve bugs found during hand on testing (at HDL level and system level).
