This role focuses on monitoring fraud trends, developing insights, and proposing solutions using data and advanced analytics within the auto and business lending portfolio at JPMorgan Chase. It involves developing strategies to balance fraud losses, operational expenses, and customer impact, and collaborating with technical product teams to deliver fraud fighting capabilities. The role requires strong analytical and programming skills (SAS, SQL) and the ability to communicate complex data to senior leadership.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will monitor the fraud trends in the portfolio to develop insights around potential gaps in our defenses and propose solutions by leveraging data from across the firm, advanced machine learning models, and other advanced analytics.
  2. You will develop strategies and actions that balance the tradeoff amongst fraud losses, operational expenses driven by fraud strategies, and customer impacts from fraud prevention efforts.
  3. You will work closely with partners across the firm to deliver on joint priorities that keep the firm and our customers safe from fraud while helping the business grow.
  4. You will be responsible for working closely with technical product team to deliver best in class fraud fighting capabilities to protect our customers.
  5. With demonstrated capability and increased responsibility, you will be asked to present complex data, performance and proposals to Senior Leadership.
