What you'd actually do

  1. Design, build, and maintain high‑quality, performant user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React or similar).
  2. Translate product requirements and UX designs into clean, accessible, and reusable UI components.
  3. Own features and services end‑to‑end: technical design, implementation, testing, rollout, and post‑launch operation.
  4. Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to define APIs, data contracts, and interaction patterns for checkout experiences.
  5. Improve our frontend architecture, build pipelines, and tooling to increase developer productivity, reliability, and code quality.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years with a Master’s degree.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (including responsive design).
  • Hands‑on experience with at least one major frontend framework (React preferred; Vue/Angular/Svelte also relevant).
  • Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and component‑driven development.
  • Experience with modern testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Strong debugging skills and comfort using browser dev tools and performance profiling for complex issues.
  • Experience designing or consuming APIs used across multiple teams or business units.
  • Experience making technology and design trade‑offs to solve business problems (e.g., framework, API, or integration choices).
  • Understanding of how projects and teams align to business outcomes and interact with adjacent systems and teams.
  • Experience operating production systems within defined SLAs, including monitoring, alerting, and incident participation.
