What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the design and execution of our frontier AI public affairs strategy, ensuring engagement and communications align with organizational and policy priorities to grow mindshare and influence in key markets.
  2. Develop core messaging, policy narratives, and collateral (such as blogs and policy papers) to effectively communicate Google DeepMind’s safe and responsible frontier AI approach to government audiences.
  3. Organize high-profile events, roundtables, and bilateral meetings. Bring together key government, civil society, academic, and technical policy stakeholders to foster dialogue and build coalitions.
  4. Deliver multi-channel campaigns to advance objectives on critical issues like AI for Science, AI safety frameworks, and resilience.
  5. Build high-trust relationships with key policymakers, think tanks, and opinion formers, acting as a crucial bridge between external policy debates and internal strategy.
