Full Lifecycle Recruiter for Amazon University Talent Acquisition, responsible for attracting and managing campus recruiting efforts. The role involves partnering with hiring teams, building candidate networks, conducting interviews, and creating innovative recruitment plans. While the role operates within a company that utilizes AI/GenAI tools, it does not involve building or shipping AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for full-lifecycle recruitment of students and early career talent.
  2. Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with anイルド understanding of return on investment.
  3. Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; conducts in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios.
  4. Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment of talent that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine-tuning current processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
  5. Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification and Amazon’s Leadership Principles. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of professional work experience in a customer facing role
  • Business level fluency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal format)
  • Experience in using data and metrics to drive innovation to address challenges and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Proven ability to prioritize work, manage complex tasks, and demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a fast paced, quickly changing or international environment
  • 1+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience
  • Familiarity with Campus (early-careers) Recruitment and market best practices in Japan
