This is a warehouse operations role focused on packing, loading, and shipping items, ensuring accurate merchandise processing, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. It involves physical tasks like lifting and carrying merchandise, standing, walking, and operating basic computer systems or handheld devices. The role also requires adherence to safety policies and potentially operating powered equipment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  2. Attend safety trainings to learn how to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  3. Pack, load, and ship items to stores and guests.
  4. Ensure accurate processing of merchandise to our stores and guests.
  5. Work safely, quickly and efficiently to handle freight and move inventory throughout the warehouse.

Skills

Required

  • Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs. frequently throughout a shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout a shift.
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
  • Ability to maintain positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to accurately use basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
  • Ability to accurately read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
  • Ability to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after receiving training.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions.
  • Ability to be trained on and operate all powered equipment safely (including but not limited to Pallet Rider, Scissor Lift, Sit Down & Standup Forklift), and work at heights of up to 40ft where applicable.
  • Ability to work at a height of up to 40 ft on a mezzanine (where applicable).
  • Ability to work in various temperature-controlled environments including refrigerator and freezer for majority of shift.
