This is an internship program for veterans and military spouses at Oracle, focusing on business analysis within the Government, Defense & Intelligence team, supporting federal compliance and sales teams. The role involves documentation, process improvement, and maintaining relationships related to information security requirements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support federal compliance initiatives.
  2. Support design and development of process and documentation in support of CMMC and related efforts.
  3. Maintain business relationships with interested parties on information security requirements.
  4. Support additional/related GDI Performance Management related initiatives in ad-hoc capacity

Skills

Required

  • Experience with Cybersecurity and Information Security
  • Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
  • Fundamental understanding of security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
  • Ability to communicate security issues to peers, management, customers, and end-users.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • US Citizens with ability to obtain a US security clearance if needed.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of the NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, DFARS desired but not required
  • Knowledge of standards and requirements with application security
  • Knowledge and expertise in projects of risk, information security and environment management
  • A strong multi-tasker with a keen eye for detail
  • Organized and thrive in fast-paced environment.
