What you'd actually do

  1. Support the accounting process (general, auxiliary, analytical) for multiple entities, including cash, PP&E, revenues, payroll, purchases, and intercompany transactions
  2. Transition accounting tasks from external providers to internal processes
  3. Prepare supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in a timely and accurate manner
  4. Ensure compliance with tax and social security obligations (VAT, corporate income tax, payroll taxes, etc.) in collaboration with local advisors
  5. Contribute to the preparation of local statutory financial statements in France and abroad

Skills

Required

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance (DCG, DSCG, Master’s degree, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in an accounting services firm, preferably for start-ups, tech, or listed companies
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or French accounting standards (PCG)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to suggest and implement process improvements

Nice to have

  • French is a plus
