Generative Media AI Lead, Emea

This role leads EMEA sales pursuits for Generative Media (GenMedia) within Google Cloud. The individual will bridge GTM strategy and sales execution, manage a sales team to acquire new customers and generate revenue, and transform C-suite perception of GenMedia. The role requires experience in GTM/Sales, executive-level presentations, and business development in AI or creative technology, with a preference for experience in creative agency operations or media production and understanding of AI/ML in media.

What you'd actually do

  1. Execute EMEA GenMedia initiatives, directing a broader go-to-market strategy for growth while leveraging Google’s vast teams and resources.
  2. Win direct sales pursuits with key clients in Fortune 500, Media and Entertainment, Media Independent Software Vendor (ISV’s), and Ad Agencies, aligning to C-Suite and Enterprise Buyers for GenMedia.
  3. Analyze trends across numerous customer engagements to identify core feature gaps and blockers that impede horizontal growth.
  4. Maintain an understanding of Cloud AI offerings and business best practices to ensure Google Cloud remains a trusted partner in the GenMedia space.
  5. Serve as the primary spokesperson for GenMedia at the executive level, walking into rooms with Chief Marketing Officer (CMOs) to explain the transformational impact of AI on creative production.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 12 years of experience leading GTM/Sales and working with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals
  • 8 years of experience delivering presentations at the executive/Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) level
  • Experience in business development or account management, specifically driving customer adoption of innovative solutions in AI or creative technology fields (e.g., Adobe, Figma)
  • Experience working with emerging GenMedia tools, infrastructure, and ecosystem players

Nice to have

  • Experience in Creative Agency operations or media production, with an understanding of how GenMedia transforms traditional creative pipelines
  • Experience guiding business leaders through the selection and deployment of GenMedia capabilities
  • Understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in the media
  • Ability to move between high-profile executive engagements and tactical, execution-based tasks to prove the model
  • Ability to anticipate market shifts and proactively develops solutions to unblock sales channels
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to stay calm and effective while working in a high-pressure, global go-to-market environment
