This role is a quota-carrying Business Development professional responsible for driving the adoption and revenue growth of Amazon Connect, AWS's cloud-based contact center solution, within an assigned geographic territory. The role involves working with field sales teams, customers, and partners to identify opportunities, develop pipeline, and accelerate deal cycles, requiring a blend of technical acumen, sales expertise, and the ability to articulate the business value of modern contact center transformation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for Amazon Connect within your assigned geographic territory, driving pipeline generation and revenue attainment against quota targets
  2. Partner with AWS Account Managers, Solutions Architects, and Partner teams to identify, qualify, and progress Amazon Connect opportunities across enterprise and mid-market customers
  3. Conduct discovery with customers to understand their contact center challenges, map business outcomes to Amazon Connect capabilities, and position differentiated value propositions
  4. Develop and deliver compelling customer-facing presentations, demos, and business cases that articulate the ROI of migrating to Amazon Connect
  5. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through proactive outreach, event follow-up, partner engagement, and collaboration with marketing on demand generation campaigns

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning), GenAI (Generative AI), Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications
