This role is for an Account Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) focused on startups. The primary responsibility is to drive revenue and market share by engaging with startup clients, understanding their unique needs, and helping them leverage AWS technologies, including AI and ML, to innovate. The role involves creating value propositions, building long-term strategic relationships, and working with internal AWS teams to execute go-to-market strategies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Gerar receita e participação de mercado em um território definido ou indústria vertical;
  2. Acelerar a adesão de cliente por meio de "sales engagement" e estratégia Go-to-Market (GTM);
  3. Acelerar a adesão de clientes envolvendo fundadores, CxO, Conselho de Administração e influenciadores de Venture Capital;
  4. Criar e articular propostas de valor em torno dos serviços da AWS;
  5. Desenvolver relacionamentos estratégicos de longo prazo com clientes.

Skills

Required

  • Sales experience in IT/technology/cloud
  • Closing new business
  • Meeting quotas
  • Sales or business development experience in technology
  • Ability to meet or exceed targets
  • Ability to lead meetings and communicate with clients in English and Portuguese (Brazil)

Nice to have

  • Postgraduate or MBA
  • Strong experience with cloud technology solutions sales
