Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznań we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:
GL Accountant** **
Poznań, Poland
**Your responsibilities:**
- Perform daily and monthly general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis with focus on fixed assets and leasing processes.
- Collaborate with the Team and with various business partners to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Preparing month-end and year-end closings
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Support the implementation of innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Our requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance (AP, AR or GL).
- University degree preferably in Finance/Accounting or similar.
- Practical knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel skills
- English B2, both written and verbal.
- Ability to plan and execute tasks independently.
- Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
**Nice to have:**
- German language will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of US GAAP.
