This role is for a Global Benefits Manager responsible for the strategy, vendor relationships, and day-to-day execution of benefits programs. The individual will own the full benefits lifecycle, lead open enrollment, design and optimize benefits portfolios, manage health plans, oversee broker and carrier relationships, administer Workday Benefits, build global programs, and partner with cross-functional teams on compliance and reporting. The role requires significant experience in benefits management, including hands-on Workday configuration and experience in both high-growth startups and publicly traded companies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the full benefits lifecycle, from annual strategy and budget planning through day-to-day employee questions and escalations.
  2. Lead open enrollment end-to-end: project-manage timelines, build communication plans, configure and test systems, and serve as the primary point of contact for employees throughout the process.
  3. Design, evaluate, and optimize a comprehensive benefits portfolio including medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, disability, FSA/HSA, 401(k)/retirement, equity education, commuter benefits, EAP, and voluntary offerings.
  4. Manage and evolve both self-funded and fully-insured health plans, including working with TPAs, stop-loss carriers, and understanding claims data to drive cost and quality outcomes.
  5. Serve as the primary relationship owner for benefits brokers and carriers; lead RFPs, renewals, and contract negotiations.
