This role is for a Marketing Director of Strategic Initiatives and Operations at Visa, focusing on consumer products. The primary responsibility is to ensure cross-functional integration for the consumer product marketing portfolio, establishing a unified B2B2C marketing engine. The role involves setting marketing plans, leading operational strategy, owning premium product marketing, driving cross-functional coordination, operating executive steering committees, and partnering with analytics to track KPIs. A key aspect is integrating AI across team activities and leading innovation pilots.

What you'd actually do

  1. Set annual and multi-year marketing plans and business case for multi-year investments, across function to support capital allocations for the Office of CMO as well as Product and cross border business units.
  2. Lead operational strategy to form 'central hub' for Global Product and Global Business units to orchestrate marketing functional responses across B2C, B2B, sponsorships, and marketing services teams.
  3. Operate as Visa’s single point of ownership for premium product marketing, e-commerce marketing, and travel‑led growth marketing, unifying strategy, execution, measurement, and partner enablement across Global Product, the Cross‑Border Business Unit, Global Marketing, and Regions.
  4. Drive cross‑functional coordination (QBRs, operating model, resourcing, communications, OKR setting and cadence) with the Affluent Product and Benefits Team, Cross Border Business Unit, and E-commerce product teams, whom Global Brand - Consumer Products are accountable to.
  5. Integrate A.I. across the team activities, drive innovation pilots that bridge the marketing portfolio under Consumer Products, and lead special projects as determined by the VP of Brand Marketing - Consumer Products.

Skills

Required

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
