ABBYY is seeking a Global Compensation & Benefits Manager to oversee and improve their global Total Rewards framework. This role involves strategic program ownership and hands-on execution of compensation, benefits, and governance. The manager will partner with various departments and external vendors to ensure programs are competitive, equitable, compliant, and aligned with company philosophy. Key responsibilities include managing the annual compensation cycle, overseeing global market benchmarking, developing compensation dashboards, and managing global benefits programs. The role also requires strong analytical skills, data management, cross-functional leadership, and vendor management, with a focus on compliance with global regulations and data privacy laws.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead preparation and delivery of the annual compensation cycle, including merit, promotion, market adjustments, and performance bonus administration.
  2. Oversee evaluation, design, and delivery of ABBYY’s global benefits programs, including health, retirement, statutory benefits, wellness, and regionspecific offerings.
  3. Own all global compensation and benefits data within HR systems and reporting tools.
  4. Partner with Talent Acquisition to set salary range positions, advise on offer strategies, and ensure internal equity.
  5. Manage relationships with global and regional vendors, ensuring SLA adherence and service quality.

Skills

Required

  • 5–8 years of experience in Compensation, Benefits, or Total Rewards, with exposure to global programs.
  • Strong command of compensation benchmarking tools (Radford, Mercer, Culpepper).
  • Experience partnering crossfunctionally with TA, People Ops, Finance, Payroll, and Legal.
  • Prior experience supporting multiple countries and navigating diverse regulatory environments.
  • Advanced analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • High proficiency in Excel/Sheets; experience with Power BI or Tableau a plus.
  • Ability to convert complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to work in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills; able to lead multiple processes across global cycles.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • A global mindset, cultural awareness, and an inclusive approach to decision-making.
  • HRIS experience (HiBob preferred; equivalent systems such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors also valuable).
  • Compensation survey platforms (Radford, Mercer, Culpepper).
  • Familiarity with global payroll or finance systems (e.g., ADP, NetSuite).
  • Knowledge of global statutory requirements, including statutory benefits, minimums, and local market norms.
  • Awareness of pay transparency regulations (EU/US) and their impact on compensation structures.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy laws (GDPR and local equivalents) and secure handling of compensation data.
