Join the Payments Controller team within the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB). As a Product Controller, you will help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the firm’s books and records, with a focus on general ledger, financial reporting, and a strong control environment. You will partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Technology, and the business to support month-end close activities, perform analytical review of financial results, and drive adherence to firmwide control standards. You will join a high-impact Payments Controller team supporting a dynamic and growing global business.

Key Responsibilities
Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Perform analytical review of P&L and Balance Sheet, identifying key drivers, trends, and potential risks
Prepare financial reporting and support management commentary for internal stakeholders
Ensure adherence to legal entity control standards, including substantiation, documentation, and governance requirements
Support marketing and business accrual processes to ensure completeness and accuracy of expense recognition
Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve control and reporting issues in a timely and accurate manner
Assist in strengthening controls supporting financial reporting and new business initiatives
Required Qualifications
2–4+ years of experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or a related field
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
Basic understanding of financial statements (Income Statement and Balance Sheet) and financial accounting concepts
Experience supporting month-end close processes in a financial services environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and control
Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships
Working knowledge and basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to legal entity reporting and control frameworks
Familiarity with marketing accruals or expense management processes
Basic understanding of data analytics and emerging AI concepts applied to finance
Experience with CDGL, Anaplan/Essbase, and Paragon
Experience with financial reporting tools and systems
