This role focuses on physical security intelligence analysis for the EMEA region at JPMorgan Chase. What you'd actually do

  1. Support the Europe, Middle East, and Africa physical security portfolio by producing tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence products
  2. Partner with Global Security stakeholders to understand and refine ongoing intelligence requirements
  3. Conduct open-source and social media research to identify emerging threats, risks, and relevant trends
  4. Analyze threat and vulnerability information to assess potential impacts to people, assets, and operations
  5. Execute location threat assessments to support regulatory requirements for firm locations

Skills

Required

  • Professional experience performing open-source research, intelligence analysis, and/or investigative work
  • Advanced experience writing clear, well-structured analytical products for professional audiences
  • Advanced experience briefing or presenting analytical findings to stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and structured analysis to complex, ambiguous problems
  • Experience integrating qualitative and quantitative information to support analytic judgments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS or other mapping tools
  • Knowledge of Europe, Middle East, and Africa geopolitical and security topics, including crime, terrorism, civil unrest, and executive protection
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations/Affairs, War/Conflict Studies, or a related field with significant physical security focus
  • Experience using social listening tools and creating or analyzing datasets and visualizations

Nice to have

  • Academic and/or practical work experience with complex mapping for use in intelligence products
  • Any open-source research qualifications
  • At least limited working proficiency in a foreign (non-English) language spoken in the EMEA region
  • Some prior experience of day-to-day corporate security operations and intelligence needs would be helpful
  • Experience with AI/LLM tools, especially deploying these tools for the intelligence cycle
