This role is for a Global IT Software Engineer Director at BCG, focusing on leading a Dynamics 365 Sales implementation in a government cloud environment. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead end-to-end technical delivery for a Dynamics 365 Sales implementation, ensuring the solution architecture, configuration, custom development, and integrations align to business goals and enterprise standards
  2. Oversee multiple vendors and system integrators responsible for design, build, test, deployment, and release activities, holding partners accountable for scope, quality, timelines, and engineering discipline
  3. Establish governance for solution design decisions, environment strategy, release management, defect triage, risk tracking, and dependency management across internal and vendor teams
  4. Ensure the implementation is designed for government cloud requirements, including security, compliance, data handling, access controls, and platform constraints relevant to regulated environments
  5. Drive architecture and design reviews covering Dynamics 365 Sales, Dataverse, Power Platform components, integrations, data migration, reporting, and surrounding enterprise systems

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of experience leading enterprise CRM or customer platform initiatives
  • significant hands-on and leadership experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale implementations involving external vendors, system integrators, or blended delivery teams
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Sales architecture, Dataverse, security model, integration patterns, data migration, and environment management
  • Experience delivering solutions in a government cloud or similarly regulated environment, with awareness of compliance, security, and operational constraints
  • Strong judgment in technical trade-offs, delivery risk management, and issue escalation across complex, multi-stakeholder programs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams, business stakeholders, senior leadership, and vendor partners
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to satisfy government security clearance requirements

Nice to have

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 in GCC, GCC High, or other FedRAMP-aligned cloud environments
  • Experience overseeing implementations subject to FedRAMP, NIST, CUI, or comparable public-sector security standards
  • Experience with Azure-based integration patterns, API-led architecture, identity and access management, and DevOps processes supporting enterprise SaaS platforms
  • Knowledge of Power Platform capabilities, including Power Automate, model-driven apps, and governance considerations in regulated environments
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, or Solution Architecture
