Expedia Group is seeking a Global Media Strategy & Insights Manager to lead the media approach for Hotels.com, focusing on strategy, best practices, insights, optimization, and effectiveness. The role involves developing evidence-based media strategies, leading a test-and-learn agenda, and driving optimization of media investment. A key aspect is championing automation and AI to streamline planning processes and enhance strategic focus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as the primary global media strategy lead for Hotels.com, partnering with Media Business Directors to shape strategic planning and execution.
  2. Lead the development and socialization of global media approaches that align brand, performance, and market requirements.
  3. Develop and maintain the global media planning principles and media best practices.
  4. Streamline media planning processes through centralization, automation, and collaboration.
  5. Own and maintain the EG Media Learning Agenda, sourcing and prioritizing business questions, hypotheses, and insights.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years Proven expertise in strategic media planning, optimization, and effectiveness, either in-house or agency-side.
  • Deep understanding of evidence-based media strategy and comfortable with marketing analytics methods (e.g. MMM, incrementally testing etc.)
  • Strong consultative and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise and influence at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
