This role supports US Investment Grade (IG) credit strategy by monitoring markets, maintaining data infrastructure, analyzing macro developments, and contributing to publications. It involves data-driven research, modeling, and communication of insights.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own day-to-day monitoring of US IG spread markets, technicals, and macro catalysts; filter signal from noise and flag key drivers of spread direction
  2. Build, maintain, and enhance data models and infrastructure (including large Excel models with VBA) to improve efficiency, expand scope, and automate workflows using SQL and Python
  3. Support flagship strategy publications by identifying evolving trends, running scenario analysis, and performing valuation and relative value analysis
  4. Write concise, client-ready research notes and contribute clearly reasoned conclusions to publications
  5. Communicate views effectively in live discussions, internal debates, and client-facing conversations
