Global Security Investigations Manager

This role is for a Global Security Investigations Manager who will conduct research and investigations to protect the company's people, assets, and brand. Responsibilities include threat assessment, OSINT utilization, complex investigations into unlawful activity and policy violations, insider threat analysis, report writing, and collaboration with internal and external partners. The role requires experience in investigative practices, OSINT expertise, critical thinking, and leadership in security operations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leverage advanced techniques and extensive proficiency in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) to support investigative objectives.
  2. Conduct complex investigations into unlawful activity and violations of company policies and procedures efficiently, thoroughly, and professionally.
  3. Analyze and investigate insider threat risks/vulnerabilities and ensure program alignment with Company objectives.
  4. Author detailed professional reports and maintain well-organized and accurate incident files.
  5. Partner with other business units to develop and deliver employee training to maintain awareness and minimize incidents.

Skills

Required

  • Experience in multidisciplinary threat assessment methodology.
  • 5 + years or more of experience in investigative practices, including: conducting interviews; locating, reviewing, and analyzing data; conducting investigative research in physical security systems, preserving evidence and producing cohesive and thorough written reports.
  • OSINT expertise and internet research skills, with strong knowledge of search techniques, tools, and databases.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills to assess the quality and relevance of online information.
  • Experience with standard case management systems, including entering and maintaining case documents and evidence.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in fundamental business skills; proficiency in standard office software programs, such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software (PowerPoint, Prezi, etc.), and collaboration tools (Teams, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
  • Experience in leading a security operations or investigative team or history of increasing responsibility in a security or investigative operations structure.
  • Exhibit high integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Working knowledge of intelligence aggregation tools; including review of the output of automated data models to assess and identify potential insider threats.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Cyber security awareness and experience in conducting cyber-related investigations.
