What you'd actually do

  1. Oversee daily equity plan operations including grant processing, option exercises, cancellation and cap table management.
  2. Build and optimize processes for equity transactions while ensuring accuracy and compliance
  3. Manage monthly equity reconciliations and reporting
  4. Lead demographic and payroll system integrations to streamline equity operations
  5. Develop and implement automated processes for tax rate calculations and payroll integration

Skills

Required

  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation
  • 8+ years of experience in equity administration, stock plan management, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of equity compensation principles (stock options, RSUs)
  • Experience with Shareworks equity management platforms
  • Proficiency in payroll systems integration and tax withholding processes
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex equity concepts to employees

Nice to have

  • Experience at high-growth technology companies during scaling phases
  • Knowledge of US and international equity compensation and tax requirements
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
