Global Supply Manager, Networking

This role is for a Global Supply Manager focused on networking within an AI infrastructure company. The primary responsibilities include strategic procurement, end-to-end supply chain management, contract negotiation, logistical optimization, supplier relationship management, inventory control, risk management, and cross-functional coordination. The role requires experience in supply chain or procurement leadership, strategic sourcing, and proficiency in supply chain software. While the company is in the AI infrastructure space, this specific role is focused on the operational and supply chain aspects rather than direct AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and consistently aligned with company objectives.
  2. Manage the entire supply chain process, overseeing everything from raw material sourcing through to final product delivery.
  3. Negotiate and execute contracts and terms with key suppliers and vendors to secure the most advantageous terms and conditions for Crusoe.
  4. Analyze and optimize all logistical operations to ensure a seamless flow of goods and reduce overall operational costs.
  5. Evaluate and actively manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring they consistently meet our stringent quality standards and critical delivery deadlines.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5-15 years of experience in a supply chain or procurement leadership role, preferably within the energy sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chains, ensuring vendor compliance, and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong contract negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Proven experience in Strategic Sourcing activities such as RFPs, RFQs, Supplier Selection, and Risk Management.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, with the ability to navigate Crusoe Industries’ Acumatica (ERP) system.
  • Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and relevant regulations.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing CapEx budgets in excess of $100 million.
  • Professional certification such as CPM, CSCP, or CPIM.
  • Experience with AI/data center infrastructure supply chains.
  • Experience with Excel/Spreadsheet Data Modeling and Dashboarding.
  • Proficiency in utilizing AI tools to increase personal productivity.
