Global Supply Planner

This role is for a Global Supply Planner at Johnson & Johnson, focusing on ensuring product availability and efficient supply across a global network. It involves translating demand and supply signals into executable plans, collaborating with various departments, balancing demand/inventory/capacity, managing master data, handling purchase orders, and performing ad-hoc analysis. What you'd actually do

  1. Propagate net requirements upstream and translate them into feasible downstream deployment plans to protect service and minimize disruptions.
  2. Build and maintain strong cross-site and cross-functional relationships with External Manufacturers, Demand Planning, Sales, Customer Service, and Distribution/Logistics to align plans when forecasts, supply, or customer orders change.
  3. Balance demand, inventory, and capacity to meet service targets (e.g., LIFR) and financial goals while optimizing inventory entitlement and stock positioning across locations.
  4. Maintain and govern key planning master data and parameters (lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, sourcing rules) to ensure accurate system planning and better supply outcomes.
  5. Manage purchase orders, handle changes and exceptions, and support Accounts Payable with invoicing issues while proactively communicating supply status and critical metrics.
