Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Government Affairs & Policy Manager for their MedTech division in Colombia. The role involves assessing, influencing, and shaping the policy environment, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and developing advocacy plans to advance business priorities. The candidate will map policy trends, support industry trade associations, and create engagement plans with government officials. Experience in Colombian government, the healthcare system, and the medical devices sector is desirable.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop solid, comprehensive, and actionable advocacy plans to advance business priorities; ensure proper alignment with the local team, Colombian Country Manager and with GA&P Director and coordinate with other functions, such as HEMA, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial & MKT.
  2. Map major policy trends and find opportunities and risks for the businesses; provide analysis and recommendations for action, both on the policy and business fronts
  3. Support the Country Manager at industry trade associations and other organizations, providing insights and strategy recommendations
  4. Develop high-quality briefing materials, talking points, and presentations, both in Spanish and English
  5. Take on leadership positions at trade associations and relevant organizations to ensure that MedTech business priorities are taken into full consideration
