This role is for an experienced Government Contracts Manager to support the Defense vertical, focusing on proposal development, FAR/DFARS compliance, and overall go-to-market strategies for dual-use solutions. The role involves cradle-to-grave contract support, negotiation, compliance, and working cross-functionally with various teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide cradle-to-grave contract support during entire lifecycle of government contracts, including pre-solicitation planning, proposal development, contract execution compliance, and close-out
  2. Negotiate NDAs and Teaming Agreements with teaming partners
  3. Manage subcontractor and supplier contractual relationships
  4. Manage relationships with contracting officers and teaming partner contractual representatives
  5. Provide contractual guidance for business obligations

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience as a government contracts professional within the U.S. government and/or private industry
  • Experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies
  • Experience with contract management for a diverse range of contract types (e.g., FFP, T&M, CPFF) and contract vehicles (FAR based contracts, Other Transaction Authority (OTA), subcontracts, software licenses, GSA schedules)
  • An active security clearance, or the ability to obtain one
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Nice to have

  • Experience at a defense technology company that sells software and/or hardware
  • Experience with contract management related to Department of Defense programs
  • Experience with contract management for sales to international defense customers
  • Exposure to U.S. export controls compliance (e.g., ITAR)
